Jim Thorpe Independent Film Festival
Entertainment & Festivals
4th Annual Jim Thorpe Independent Film Festival (JTIFF) April 22 - 25th, 2021 at the historic Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe
The Jim Thorpe Independent Film Festival channels the rebellious spirit of the Molly Maguires, welcoming the boldest, most defiant filmmakers to present their work, shatter convention and incite spirited debate. Our credo is “eyes and minds wide open” and we mean it.
We welcome films of every genre and budget, from gritty underground and experimental fare to “well-funded” traditional works. Also, on Friday and Saturday nights, we will present a special “Midnight Movie” program. So send us your bloody best!
Originally from Brooklyn, Jocelyn O'Neil and Todd Morris, moved to Jim Thorpe in 2014 after the birth of their son. Jocelyn is an actress, writer and producer who’s films have screened in festivals throughout the country. Todd is an award winning Commercial Producer who’s worked in the business for more than two decades. He’s also written and directed two indie features, several shorts and screened his work in dozens of film festivals around the globe.
Our submission process will be run primarily through WithoutaBox. We will have a link to WOB available shortly. To enter your film directly, or for more info, please send an inquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org
We accept shorts and feature length films in all categories:
• Global Voices
• Horror / Sci Fi
