The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Engineering District 5-0 is moving forward with a plan to replace the bridge carrying SR 3005 (Country Club Road) over Mahoning Creek in Mahoning Township, Carbon County. The bridge will be closed during construction. Proposed construction is scheduled to begin in late 2025.. The purpose of this letter is to invite you to participate in a plans display that will be posted on the PennDOT website beginning August 9, 2023 at the following web address:

Lehighton- The Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) released the 2 nd quarter 2023 interest rates for companies who wish to apply for a PIDA loan through the Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corp. (CCEDC). For term loans with a regular amortization; 1. Fixed interest rate for the full term of the loan (up to a 15-yr. period), set at the current 10-year treasury yield + 100 basis points. Based on the current 10-year treasury yield, the fixed rate option is 4.50%
