Wildlands Conservancy – Wildflower Planting at Archibald Johnston Estate
Step into nature's canvas and join us for a day of wildflower planting at the historic Archibald Johnston Mansion! This planting is a finishing touch to a stream restoration project that restored free flowing conditions to the Monocacy Creek. As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in enhancing biodiversity and preserving natural heritage. Guided by experienced environmentalists, you'll learn about the native wildflowers that call this area home and how each species contributes to the delicate balance of our ecosystem. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a nature enthusiast eager to make a difference, this event offers an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and make a tangible impact on the environment.
