Wildlands Conservancy – Get Out! For Wellness: Stone Soup Stroll
Enjoy the company of fellow walkers as you explore the wintery trails at the Sanctuary. Prizes will be given to those GOFW folks who have been on 10 or more events in 2024. As the tradition of Stone Soup dictates, we’ll cook up pots of “stone” soup over two open fires—one vegetarian and one beef. Bring a vegetable (fresh or canned) to add to the pot or bring some rolls to go with. This event is appropriate for all ages. Dress in layers for the weather. Wear comfortable shoes. Bathrooms are available on site inside the Air Products Educational Building and the Trexler Building. This walk is free and is part of the Get Out For Wellness series, in partnership with Lehigh Valley Health Network. Please register online. DIRECTIONS: From I-78, take exit 55 for PA-29/S Cedar Crest Blvd. Go south on South Cedar Crest Blvd. and turn left onto Riverbend Road. Go 0.8 miles to the stop sign and turn right onto Orchid Place. Drive 0.3 miles to the blue Wildlands’ sign and turn right over the bridge, then left into the parking lot. Walk up the “animal tracks” sidewalk to the Air Products Educational Building. Questions: Arianna Kohler, AKohler@wildlandspa.org
