Trombonist, composer, arranger, and big-band leader Rob Stoneback performed with Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Jimmy Dorsey, Harry James, Gene Krupa, Natalie Cole, Johnny Mathis, Aretha Franklin, and the list goes on.
Rob appeared onstage with Bill Watrous, Stanley Turrentine, Phil Woods, Urbie Green, Bobby Watson, Clark Terry and performed at the Telluride Jazz Festival, the Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Festival, and numerous jazz festivals nationwide.
The Rob Stoneback Big Band has been in continuous operation since 1979. The band recorded with Bill Watrous and performed at Lincoln Center featuring Simone, Nina Simone's daughter.

Grammy Award-winning drummer Bill Goodwin holds an extensive resume in the jazz world. Bill worked with a seemingly endless list of artists like Bill Evans, Dexter Gordon, Art Pepper, Jim Hall, George Shearing, Bobby Hutcherson, Tony Bennett, Manhattan Transfer, and many more.
The drum chair with Gary Burton brought Bill to the East Coast in 1969. As a drummer's drummer, Bill plays the music. His vast knowledge and experience as a jazz drummer will exemplify what the music needs at the moment. Don't miss the Bill Goodwin Trio at Vic's Jazz loft!

During the last 5years, The Relay has been honing an intimate understanding of what makes their ensemble and audience come alive. In 2021, Grammy-nominated artists Dan Pratt and Michael Eckroth formed a band to leverage this chemistry and called it The Relay. The band's first recording features primarily original compositions that go straight to the beating heart and the tapping foot of any fan of serious jazz. If you're looking for compositions with infectious rhythm, memorable melodies, and swirling improvisation with self-assured execution, you want to catch The Relay at Vic's Jazz loft. "The Relay" will release on Same Island Music in April 2022, and the quartet will support this release on the road.

Dan released four solo albums and is a soloist and section leader in some of the most refined ensembles in jazz, including the Christian McBride Big Band, the Village Vanguard Orchestra, Dee Dee Bridgewater. He's performed at Birdland, the White House, and the Tokyo and Newport Jazz Festivals.

Michael is a multi-genre musician whose work is grounded in the jazz tradition. Based in the New York area since 2006, he's known for his work with jazz icon John Scofield and being the composer-pianist for the GRAMMY-nominated Cuban ensemble Orquesta Akokán. Michael performed in venues and festivals throughout Europe, the Americas, Australia, and New Zealand. Notably, he also performed at the North Sea Jazz Festival.
