Melrose Manor Open House & Tour
Join the Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation for the Melrose Manor Open House and Tour on Thursday, December 19th from 4-7 PM! A private tour will be offered from 4-5 PM for Chamber Members and Employees and local community groups, followed by a public open house and tours from 5-7 PM with hot chocolate, cider and Christmas cookies included.
RSVP is free but required for the private tour portion of this event. Online registration is now closed; please email Kylie Adams-Weiss at kadams@carboncountychamber.org to register! Walk-ins are also welcome.
About Melrose Manor: Melrose Manor is the historically significant, magnificently restored former Rectory of the St Michael’s Church and Schoolhouse building complex with origins back to 1873. Guests enjoy scenic mountain views from the 3 story 6,500 sq ft character filled brick mansion that features 9 bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, expansive dining, living and parlor rooms, a billiard/game room, and a ventilated indoor hot tub room leading out to a private courtyard BBQ area. Located just minutes from area amenities including the No. 9 Coal Mine, Nesquehoning Station, Lehigh River Rafting, Skirmish Paintball, Narrow Valley Sports Complex, Jim Thorpe, Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railroad, Mauch Chunk Lake, Penn’s Peak Venue and Blue Mountain Ski Resort, there is no shortage of activities to do while visiting with us.
Melrose Manor is now live for large group overnight accommodations. The whole house vacation rental is part of a larger approved project - The Sanctuary, Accommodations & Events which will include 12-15 vacation rental 1-2 bedroom loft style apartments and a luxurious expansive special events and wedding venue in the beautiful former St. Michael’s Church, once widely known as The Cathedral of the Coal Region.
