Health & Wellness Committee Meeting
It is time to re-ignite the CCEDC Health & Wellness Committee – you are invited to join us!
Health & Wellness in Carbon County
This meeting is open to the public
During the earlier meetings, we discussed so many issues facing the community. It became apparent that there is a need for improved information, accessibility of services and communication, among other things. The committee, will have a focus on hosting educational and entertaining events, addressing public health issues, and spreading the word about health and wellness in Carbon County.
Volunteers who are interested in being part of this wellness committee in Carbon County are being sought. The goal is to promote and support the wellness community, businesses and organizations by promoting health and wellness of members and their employees through education and initiatives. The committee will explore promoting healthy workplace programs that encourage healthy lifestyles for employees, both physically and mentally. They will assist businesses in creating and maintaining a culture of physical and mental health that can benefit employees, employers and the larger community.
