Employer Engagement: Virtual Launch Meeting

The Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation and the Pocono County Workforce Development Board are partnering to host a virtual dialogue with local employers to better understand today’s workforce challenges and opportunities.

This dialogue will give businesses a chance to share what they’re experiencing day-to-day — from hiring needs and skills gaps to training challenges and future growth plans. The goal is simple: to listen, learn, and use real employer feedback to shape stronger programs and resources that actually support business success in our region.

The input gathered will help guide future workforce and talent initiatives, such as employee education and training, apprenticeship and internship opportunities, workforce and training grants and other potential opportunities. 

By bringing employers together for this dialogue, we can identify common needs, uncover gaps, and work collaboratively on solutions that strengthen our workforce pipeline and help businesses attract, retain, and grow talent.
