The Poconos: Innovation and Opportunity

The Economic Outlook Summit will be hosted by Kenneth Long, Interim President of East Stroudsburg University. This year’s theme is The Poconos: Innovation and Opportunity and will feature a keynote address on Amtrak’s Vision for Rail Service to the Poconos by Dennis Newman, Amtrak’s Executive Vice President for Strategy, Planning and Accessibility, followed by a panel discussion and questions. Other featured presentations include the Carbon, Monroe, Pike and Wayne County Commissioners who will share what actions they are taking to drive innovation and create opportunities in their respective counties; and Christopher Beadling, President of the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, will provide insights on the impact of the pandemic on the real estate market and current real estate trends.
