FOCUS ON: Cyber Security and the Impact on Business as Usual
JIM THORPE (April 28, 2016) -Mauch Chunk Trust Company offers an educational and informational presentation by regional industry professionals on the short and long term effects resulting from threats to our cyber security. Such topics as the impacts on business operations, financial considerations, future planning, prevention and risk management will be addressed in addition to others. This event is scheduled for April 28 at the Boulder View Tavern and is provided free of charge for the benefit of the community by Mauch Chunk Trust Company. Any small business owner, employer or community member with an interest in learning more about the impact of threats to our cyber security is welcome to attend; content will be geared towards business decision makers.

Kevin Gold - Rhoads & Sinon - Founding member of the Intellectual Property & Technology practice groupIn addition to his Employment & Labor practice group and his Entertainment and Sports practice group, Mr. Gold also serves as a founding member of the Intellectual Property & Technology practice group where he advises clients on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights under trademark, trade secret and copyright law and on emerging technology issues involving the Internet and social media. Mr. Gold is a frequent lecturer and writer and has spoken and written on labor and employment, intellectual property and technology issues and entertainment and sports law for such organizations as the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, Council on Education in Management, National Business Institute, Small Business Development Center and Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers.
Paul Iannace - Detective, Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office
Mr. Iannace is manager of the Lehigh County Digital Forensic Laboratory and Supervisor of the Lehigh County Computer Crime Task Force. A retired Pennsylvania State Police Trooper, He has extensive experience as a Cyber Crime Investigator and Digital Forensic Analyst. He is responsible for the daily operations of a digital forensic lab and supervises a task force unit that investigates high technology and digital incidents. He has investigated and assisted in thousands of incidents in which digital and/or Internet technologies were used to facilitate criminal activity. Considered an expert witness in matters relating to digital and Internet technologies & investigations, he has testified in numerous court cases involving digital evidence & Internet technology. He has numerous certifications in the digital forensics field, is a member of many associations and is actively involved in assisting post-secondary educational facilities maintain computer forensic curriculums. Paul is a frequent speaker on the subjects of computer forensics, social media, cell phone technologies, computer forensics methodologies, protecting children online and identity theft and fraud. He has taught computer forensics to graduate students and travels the country teaching digital forensics & digital investigations to Corporate Investigators, Federal Agents, State & Local Police Officers, Probation & Parole Officers, Prosecutors and Judges. He served as an Officer in the United States Army and received a degree in the field of criminal justice from Norwich University
Frank Clements - PenTeleData - Engineering Manager
Mr. Clements has been working in the service provider space for 18 years. During that time, he has worked as network administrator, systems administrator, software developer and in management. In a former position with INetU Managed Hosting, he assisted with designing the public cloud service in addition to handling implementation of the SAS70 audit controls for logical and physical security. His current position at PenTeleData involves oversight of the network engineering and sales engineering groups, both of which handle client onboarding along with network design and management. Mr. Clements works very closely with the research and development team to stay ahead of the curve with network technology and security; having co-designed the distributed denial of service product that protects all 400,000 of the PTD customers network wide.
Marie Johns - TV13 - Anchor
Marie Johns has been anchoring TV13 News since 1989. Marie was hired as a reporter, fill in anchor. A native of Toms River NJ, Marie spent most of her life in Point Phillip PA. She is a 1985
graduate of Northampton High School & in 1989 she graduated from Marywood College in Scranton PA with a BA in Radio/TV Communications and a BA in Theatre. Ms. Johns will be moderating the Cyber Security event.
