2015 Fall Fest at The Summit at BMHS

Fall Fest is a festival for the whole family. Admission is free and the event will be held rain or shine. A Flea Market will be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. $10 for a 10x10-foot space. Bring your own table and canopy. All profit you make is yours to keep. Pre-registration and pre-payment are requested by Sept. 3, 2015. For more information, or to reserve a space, call 610-377-7206. Kids? Halloween Costume Contest, for ages infant up to 12 years old, will be held at 10 a.m. Judging categories include Prettiest, Scariest, Funniest and Most Original. The deadline to participate is Sept. 3, 2015. Call 610-377-7206 for a registration form. Compete in the Best Chili Cook-off Contest. Judging?noon to 1 p.m. Ttrophies will be awarded for 1st and 2nd places as judged by local politicians. No cost to compete. Anyone can enter--amateurs, professionals, restaurants or just plain chili fanatics! Participants should make at least one gallon of chili brought in an electric crockpot. One chili category only. To sample all the chili, there will be a $5 donation. For more information on the Cook-off, call 610-377-7212. Live musical entertainment will be offered and homemade food, baked goods and beverages will be for sale. The LVHN MedEvac medical helicopter will be landing at 11 a.m. From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. you are invited to take a look inside (weather and schedule permitting) and to meet Epi, the LVHN MedEvac mascot. Race and classic cars will be on display and other activities offered throughout the day include a basket raffle and cake raffle. A variety of children?s activities will be offered, including a Bounce House, pumpkin painting, pony rides, hay ball bowling and more. A raffle drawing for a bicycle, open to children up to 10 years of age, will be held at 4:45 p.m. You must be present to win. All proceeds will benefit The Summit Nursing & Rehabilitation Center at Blue Mountain Health System.
