2015 Christopher Lee 35mm Drive-In Triple Feature

On June 7th, 2015, the world lost a living legend dear to the hearts of every fan of fantastic cinema: Christopher Lee! On Saturday, October 3rd, the Mahoning Drive-In Theater and Exhumed Films will pay tribute to the great man with a triple-bill of some of our favorite films Mr. Lee has appeared in! First off we'll have Mario (BLACK SUNDAY) Bava's sumptuous Technicolor/scope classic HERCULES IN THE HAUNTED WORLD (1961), where everyone's favorite he-man journeys to a phantasmagoric underworld and squares off with a demonic Christopher Lee! Next up is 1972's HORROR EXPRESS, one of the true gems of Euro-horror that teams a train bound Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee up against Telly Savalas and a deadly, mysterious prehistoric creature that's sucking the life force out of unsuspecting passengers! To cap off the evening, we'll have PSYCHO-CIRCUS, the U.S. version of CIRCUS OF FEAR (1966), an Edgar Wallace thriller in which a circus becomes the focal point for a series of grisly murders and oddball criminals! Each film will be preceded by a selection of Christopher Lee trailers! Join us as we pay homage to one of the greats!
