2016 Turn To Us Golf Outing at Split Rock Country Club

Split Rock Golf Club has discounted their golf fees for an amazing cause! Anytime on October 6th, 2016 between 8am - 4pm, bring your friends to play at the Poconos' premier 27 hole golf course. $25 greens/cart fees +donation to Turn To Us This event benefiting Turn To Us, a local 501c(3) nonprofit organization that helps to serve families with chronic illnesses, is hosted by the Krysta Hankee Memorial Fund and Thrivent Financial, Josh Koch. All money raised will go towards purchasing gas gift cards to ease the financial strain of travel expenses for Turn To Us clients. The Krysta Hankee Memorial Fund created the “Courses that Care-Miles that Matter” program to provide gasoline gift cards to support families medical care and other compelling needs within the family. Over $70,000.00 worth of Giant gas gift cards have provided 700,000 miles of travel for local families. Some of these families must choose between putting gas in the tank or food on the table. We reached our goal this year of 500,000 miles given to families through our gas card program. From April through October, local golf courses, Giant Foods and sign sponsors support this effort by providing great golf opportunities full of skill, raffle and door prizes.
