2014 Seventh Moon Wellness Spa Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting

Celebrate with us the Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corp. for a ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration featuring the new Wellness Studio addition of the Seventh Moon Wellness Spa in Lehighton!

Xandria Ahner, spa owner and licensed massage therapist of the spa says that the physical space of the spa and the feeling everyone experiences when they walk in the door is difficult to capture in words. She describes it as a multi-sensory experience. Ahner says, “Most people comment on the smell first - it's a combination of everything we use; essential oils, scrubs, amazing hair products, lotions, etc. Then they enjoy the separateness from the outside world - coming down into the basement of this amazing old silk mill built to stand the test of time.  It's like a spa bunker!  It's quiet and relaxing with large comfortable rooms decorated with a zen style (minimal to not clutter the mind). The relaxing music is the same throughout the space, so as a client moves from service to service there is continuity. We touch on all senses to help bring the awareness back to self. In the world we live in today, we rarely take that time to pause and connect with ourselves and what we are experiencing. It's nice to have a place to go to that gives us that opportunity.” 
 
The Seventh Moon Wellness Spa currently offers yoga, fitness, essential oil classes and workshops, such as vision boarding. The spa will continue to add on to the offerings by adding meditation, kung fu and so much more.
