“Wild West Boots and Bling” Gala to Honor Local Professionals

Carbon County, PA The Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corporation (CCEDC) will honor businesses and business professionals in Carbon County for their dedication and service to our community on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the annual dinner at Blue Mountain Resort. The Wild West Gala will focus on the great things happening in Carbon County and will feature the presentation of awards to Carbon County businesses, initiatives and individuals who have made a significant difference in our communities.
The evening will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a Happy Hour, Auction and networking reception. The dinner and program will begin at 6:30 p.m. The evening will also feature an overview of the CCEDC’s 2017/18 accomplishments and highlights.  
The awards will be presented to:
Business of the Year ~ Country Harvest Supermarket, Palmerton
Rookie Business of the Year ~ Blended Bakery, Lehighton
Tourism and Entertainment Business of the Year ~ Weatherly Hill Climb, Weatherly
Volunteer and Community Impact Award ~ Bernie Oldroyd, Albrightsville
Young Professional of the Year Award ~ Anthony Postupack, Mauch Chunk Trust Co., Jim Thorpe  
Economic Development Project ~ Lehighton Outdoor Center, Lehighton
William H. Bayer Lifetime Achievement Award ~ Mike Knies, Lansford  
“As a bottom up organization we look forward to highlighting our outstanding local business leaders and businesses in Carbon County.” said Marlyn Kissner, Executive Director of the CCEDC. “This night celebrates the people and the businesses in this great county.”
