Wildlands Conservancy – Future of the Right-of-Way Stewardship Tour

Join Carl Martin, Wildland Conservancy’s Director of Property Stewardship, for a guided exploration of Black River Sanctuary's Right-of-Way Stewardship Project. This program will showcase the habitat restoration work completed to date, highlight the ecological benefits of managing utility corridors for wildlife, and provide an inside look at future plans for the site. Participants will learn how strategic vegetation management, invasive species control, native plant establishment, and ongoing stewardship efforts are improving habitat connectivity and biodiversity across the preserve. Along the tour, Carl will discuss current restoration successes, challenges, and the long-term vision for transforming the right-of-way into a thriving habitat for pollinators, birds, and other wildlife.
