Health & Wellness in Carbon County
This meeting is open to the public

The groundwork is being laid to help move Carbon County forward toward being the healthiest county in Pennsylvania, thanks to a group of motivated and educated experts in their field. This group is coming together to help lead the way toward a healthy future for all of the Greater Carbon County Region.

Here are a few things you can expect to see from us:

Monthly walks to encourage movement, socialization and opportunities to get outside!
7th Inning Stretch, motivation to get you through the work day/week on our social media outlets!
Wednesday Wellness tips from our local experts!
Education programs and seminars

Employer/Employee Health & Wellness Pledge

Volunteers who are interested in being part of this wellness committee in Carbon County are being sought. The goal is to promote and support the wellness community, businesses and organizations by promoting health and wellness of members and their employees through education and initiatives. The committee will continue to explore promoting healthy workplace programs that encourage healthy lifestyles for employees, both physically and mentally. They will assist businesses in creating and maintaining a culture of physical and mental health that can benefit employees, employers and the larger community.
