Chamber Lunch and Tour of AMPAL Plant
(U S Metal Powders)
RESERVATIONS REQUIRED
Those who are familiar with the road from Palmerton to Little Gap have often wondered what is manufactured in the clean, quiet little plant on the south side of the highway. It has been there since 1981 and is the home of AMPAL – the largest North American producer of specialty aluminum powders. The AMPAL products are used in numerous industrial applications in over 180 countries around the globe.
The AMPAL management team has offered to host a Chamber luncheon and plant tour at noon on Tuesday April 9th at the plant site at 2115 Little Gap Road. For those unfamiliar with the area, the AMPAL facilities are located about one mile east of Palmerton on the road to Blue Mountain Ski Area
The number of attendees is limited. It is necessary to make reservations through the office of the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce 610-379-5000.
This is a unique opportunity and we appreciate the willingness of AMPAL to host this event. Call if you will attend.
Sincerely,
Peter L. Kern
