Bike 138 miles of rail trail in the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor, a Smithsonian Affiliate. Enjoy three nights in Pennsylvania's award-winning small towns. Lodging is included. Ride between the mountains of Jim Thorpe to the cobblestone streets of Bethlehem, and onto the revolutionary architecture of New Hope. Travel through 57,600 acres and 90 miles of state park, interrupted only by historic trail towns. You will explore some of the oldest history in the USA as you follow the route of anthracite coal from mine to market during the Industrial Revolution.
Overnight accommodations include the Inn at Jim Thorpe, Hotel Bethlehem and Fox & Hound Bed & Breakfast. We will transport your luggage to each accommodation. Professional bike guides, morning trail briefings, sag wagon, basic bike repair, and replacement bikes if needed to complete the ride are provided. Rest stops with snacks and water, breakfast on 3 days and lunch on 2 days is included. You will be transported back to your car by 4 PM on the final day.
