2015 Frank Sinatra Centennial Celebration Show, Starring Tony Sands and his 8-Piece B

In honor of Frank Sinatra's 100 years, Tony Sands pays tribue by performing the most-loved Sinatra classics to their true and original arrangement. This special performance features a live 8-piece swingin' big band and covers Sinatra?s life from his early days in Hoboken, N.J., to his triumphant emergence from retirement. The show will launch with Sinatra?s early years backed by big bands and Tommy Dorsey, and stretches all the way to the Madison Square Garden comeback, while detailing the various stops in between. Tony Sands captivates audiences with the mannerisms, illusion and romance that have made him a must-see along the east coast for over 20 years. "If you don?t feel the song, neither will the audience. And every song that Frank Sinatra sang, he projected with feeling," says Sands. It is not a spoiler to note that the show ends with Sinatra?s trademark sendoff, ?Put Your Dreams Away,? as made famous in his ABC television program.
