DESCRIPTION:Join the Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corp. and the Carbon County Community Foundation for a morning of connection\, learning\, and opportunity as we explore how businesses and nonprofits can work together to strengthen our community and their own impact.\n\nMany of the most valuable funding and tax credit programs available today are not one-sided they rely on active participation and partnership between businesses and nonprofits. When both sectors are engaged\, these programs can unlock new resources\, expand impact\, and create meaningful benefits for everyone involved.\n\nThis session will focus on how these partnerships work in practice\, and how local businesses and nonprofits can better connect to take advantage of the opportunities available.\n\nProgram Speakers/Highlights Include:\n\n\n	Jim O'Donnell\, Director of the PA DCED Tax Credit Division\, will provide an overview of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program and how businesses and nonprofits can participate while supporting education initiatives.\n	Fadia Halma\, Regional Director for the PA DCED Lehigh Valley Regional Office\, will discuss the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) and how it supports community revitalization through business-nonprofit collaboration.\n	Kylie Adams-Weiss\, Senior Vice President of the Carbon Chamber\, will share how Chamber membership fosters connections that lead to meaningful partnerships.\n	Jared Soto\, Economic Development Specialist\, will highlight opportunities for both businesses and nonprofits to engage in local economic development efforts.\n	Sharon Alexander\, President of the Carbon County Community Foundation\, will discuss corporate donor-advised funds and how businesses can support local nonprofits in tax-smart\, strategic ways.\n\n\nCome ready to learn\, connect\, and discover how working together can unlock new opportunities and create lasting impact across Carbon County!\n\n\n\nCancellation Policy\n\nWe understand that plans can change!
