DESCRIPTION:June 5\, 2018\n\nDear Members and Friends\,   \n\nRodgers & Hammerstein conveyed it best in their production of Carousel when they wrote the song "June is Bustin' Out All Over"    and it has been a long time comin'!   After the cool days and soaking rains of May\, any sun and pleasant temperatures will be welcomed.\n\nA few months ago\, the demands of Carbon County business forced our County Commissioners to postpone their planned Chamber luncheon at Joey B's.  They promised to reschedule and we are pleased they have agreed once again to be our guests. \n\nMark your calendar for our next meeting at noon on Tuesday June 12th  at Joey B's at 638 Delaware Avenue.      Join Commissioners Wayne Nothstein\, Tom Gerhard\, and Bill O'Gurek as they share their vision for Carbon County and answer your questions. Carbon County is poised for exciting and challenging growth and this is one meeting you won't want to miss.  \n\nAs has been our past practice\, after this meeting the Palmerton Chamber will take a summer vacation.  The office will be open\, but our next meeting will be held in September. At that time\, we will present the financial report for the year 2017 and offer for your approval a budget for the year 2019.
