This engaging session will bring together regional leaders and planning professionals to explore the initiatives\, partnerships\, and strategies shaping the future of growth\, preservation\, and development throughout Carbon County.\n\nFrom site selection and development opportunities to land preservation\, open space funding\, and the County's Comprehensive Plan\, attendees will gain valuable insight into the tools\, programs\, and collaborative efforts influencing development across the region. Whether you are a municipal official\, developer\, business owner\, realtor\, engineer\, planner\, or community advocate\, this program will offer practical perspective on balancing economic growth\, community priorities\, and long-term sustainability throughout Carbon County.\n\nProgram Speakers & Topics Include:\n\n\n	Jared Soto\, Economic Development Specialist\, CCEDC: Discussion on how the CCEDC collaborates with the Carbon County Office of Planning & Development\, including site selection efforts and development opportunities within municipalities.\n	Dawn Gorham\, Director of Land Preservation\, Wildlands Conservancy: Overview of Wildlands Conservancy's mission\, land preservation strategies\, and funding considerations for conservation and preservation projects.\n	Anna Shigo\, Open Space Coordinator\, Carbon County Office of Planning & Development: Review of Carbon County Open Space Preservation Programs\, including the new Open Space Grant Program and the Farmland Preservation Program.\n	David Bodnar\, Director of Planning & Development\, Carbon County Office of Planning & Development: Presentation on the 2025 Carbon County Comprehensive Plan and how it serves as a roadmap for industry\, business development\, and municipal planning initiatives throughout the county.\n\n\nThis session is designed to encourage collaboration\, spark meaningful conversation\, and provide attendees with practical insight into the policies\, programs\, and partnerships driving smart growth in Carbon County.\n\nSpace is limited and advance registration is encouraged.
