SUMMARY:LVHN Drive-Through Vaccination Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Drive-Through Vaccination Clinic for people age 75 and older- LVHN's first drive-through COVID-19 vaccination clinic will take place at Dorney Park in Allentown on Wednesday\, Jan. 27\, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  An appointment is required at this and all of LVHN's vaccination locations.  The vaccination is free.  People age 75 and older are urged to use MyLVHN\, our health network's free\, secure and easy-to-use patient portal\, to self-schedule a vaccination appointment.  Those who already have a MyLVHN account will receive a notification to schedule a vaccination appointment.  Another option is to call 833-584-6283.  The ability to schedule an appointment is dependent upon the supply of available vaccine at LVHN\, which is determined by the State of Pennsylvania.  We will continue to expand our mass immunization program.  Sites in Northampton and Monroe counties are being established in coordination with local health bureaus and authorities.  An appointment is needed to receive the vaccine at all LVHN locations\, including the mass-immunizations sites\, where we expect to vaccinate at least 5 000 people per day when we have adequate vaccine supply.  Those who already have a scheduled vaccination appointment are urged to keep it.  The LVHN plan for administering COVID-19 vaccines is determined by the PA Department of Health's phased approach to vaccination and vaccine supply is limited in the early stage of distribution.  \n\nEven after receiving the vaccine\, people must continue to wear a mask in public\, wash hands frequently and stay socially distant until the majority of our community is vaccinated.
