The unemployment rate is the lowest in 50 years. Inflation remains low and inflation expectations are restrained. During the summer of 2019 the economy entered the 123rd straight month of expansion. The previous longest expansion in US history clocks in at 120 months. We broke the record!\n\nBut\, is this new level of economic performance sustainable? The Fed cut rates this summer - first rate cut in 12 years. Are we nearing the end of this expanding economy? Will the ongoing trade issue drive the economy into a ditch? Is another recession in sight? Dr Ed will focus on these issues during his presentation. He will review the latest Federal Reserve policy decisions. Finally\, he will present and discuss the latest changes in the most important economic indicators.
