The National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) is the official arbiter of the beginning and ending dates of all US recession. Earlier this year\, they declared February 2020 was the beginning of the current recession. The hard question is to forecast when it will end!  An ancillary question is what shape will the recession take on: a "V"\, "W"\,"U"\, "L"\, or a hybrid shape like the Nike swoosh.  The answer to this question should be very interesting to all business leaders.
