DESCRIPTION:Join us on Thursday\, December 12\, 2019 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Orioles in Lehighton for a fun\, holiday-inspired Carbon County Women in Business December Luncheon.\n\n\n\nOur feature presentation will be: Marlyn's Path to Letting Passion In by Marlyn Kissner\, V.P. of the GLVCC Northern Region\, Executive Director of the CCEDC.\n\n \nWhat's Included?\n\nOne free drink ticket\n\nLunch\n\nProgram\n\nSanta\n\nRaffle prizes and more! \n\nWe will also have a Special Holiday Shop! \n\n \n\n\nAll paid guests are invited to bring their own company resources for display!\n\n\n\nDon't forget a $1 for the raffle!\n\n\n\nDon't miss the fun!\n\n\n\nABOUT MARLYN KISSNER:\n\n\n\nExecutive Vice President\, Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce\n\nExecutive Director\, Pocono Chamber of Commerce\n\nExecutive Director\, Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corp.\n\n\n\nNamed one of the "Top 25 Women in Business" in Northeast PA and Lehigh Valley Businesses Journal "Power Player".\n\n\n\nMarlyn Kissner leads the strategic positioning and partnership efforts for the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce to ensure local chamber empowerment\, member retention and\n\ngrowth\, leadership development and succession planning. Marlyn oversees the Chamber's Northern Region and serves as the Executive Director of the Pocono Chamber of Commerce\n\nand the Carbon Chamber and Economic Development Corporation.\n\n\n\nThrough the Chamber's grass roots efforts\, Marlyn works closely with volunteer leaders to support and strengthen communities and our local economy by implementing programs and networking opportunities for chamber businesses. In addition\, Marlyn supports and connects with local government to spearhead business advocacy.\n\n\n\nMarlyn holds a Master of Science Degree in Management from Rosemont College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Kutztown University. She serves as a board member on both the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau and NEPA Alliance. In addition\, Marlyn is a volunteer for the Carbon County Special Olympics\, Franklin Township Fire Company\, serves on the Lehigh Carbon Community College Career Development Advisory Committee and is a member of the Palmerton Women's Concourse Club. She resides in Franklin Township with her husband\, the Hon. William J. Kissner. She loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking\, biking and kayaking in the beautiful Pocono Mountains.
