DESCRIPTION:Dear Members and Friends\, \n\nLearn More About the D&L National Heritage Corridor\n\nPalmerton Chamber Luncheon   Tuesday November 12th  at Joey B's\n\n \n\n  Thirty years ago\, the United States Congress designated the 165-mile long Delaware & Lehigh waterway as a nationally significant landmark.  Much of the decision to create the town of Palmerton and to locate the New Jersey Zinc Company here was predicated on the Corridor's presence and the important role it played in the delivery of anthracite coal. Today it serves a much different but equally important role\n\n \n\nThe Palmerton Area Chamber of Commerce invites you and your guests to join us at noon at the Joey B Restaurant on Tuesday November 12th   to hear more about this national treasure and to learn more about how the Palmerton community can benefit from it.   Our guest will be Elissa Garofalo\, the D&L's Executive Director and she will speak on the opportunities available in the Palmerton area\n\n \n\n            Later this month\, we will celebrate Thanksgiving Day.   As we remember the blessings we have received\, we should always be cognizant of those less fortunate.  Lend your support to the local organizations that work so hard to address the needs of others.
