The festival will run from 11 am   6 p.m. and include family friendly activities including a tractor show\, music\, food\, food contests\, cabbage contests\, games\, and you guessed it  a lot of cabbage! New this year will be an expanded kids section with tons of activities for the entire family! Last year's inaugural event was recognized by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf\, State Rep. Doyle Heffley\, Carbon County Commissioners Wayne Nothstein\, Tom Gerhard and William O'Gurek as well as Weatherly's Mayor and Borough Council for being the first cabbage festival in the state of Pennsylvania.\n\n\n\nThis FREE event is brought to you by a group of volunteers from the borough of Weatherly along with the Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporation.
