DESCRIPTION:Please join us as the Lehighton Downtown Initiative hosts a fundraising event to help our community projects and help revitalize our downtown area. Last year we had the Amphitheater in our borough park repainted. At the Amphitheater this year numerous concerts and events are being scheduled\, including the LDI sponsoring a monthly movie using the Amphitheater as the movie screen. The LDI will also be hosting the newly formed Producer Goods Farmers Market and special events in the borough park. We are in the initial stages of planning the 2nd Annual RockToberfest to benefit breast cancer awareness. As a group\, we are currently discussing and contemplating this year's revitalization project.
