DESCRIPTION:The Carbon County Art League is pleased to present an exhibition of original\, creative art works featuring talented local artists. The show will be located in the Osprey House at the Lehigh Gap Nature Center located in the Lehigh Gap between the towns of Palmerton and Slatington. It will open November 13\, from 12:00 ? 8:00 PM\, and run through Saturday and Sunday\, November 14 and 15 from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. There is no admission charge. Paintings\, drawings\, photography\, jewelry\, sculpture and prints will be displayed for your enjoyment. You may find a unique gift for that someone special on your holiday list\, or treat yourself\, as most pieces will be for sale. A portion of all sales will benefit the Lehigh Gap Nature Center\, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving wildlife and habitat for the betterment of the earth and all its inhabitants. To spice up this cultural event there will be a 50-50 drawing (you need not be present to win) as well as an Artists? Reception . The reception will be held on Sunday\, November 15 from 3:00 ? 5:00 PM. During this time you can meet the artists\, enjoy refreshments\, and watch the presentation of awards.
