DESCRIPTION:2nd Annual Carbon Adventure Race - pre-event mixer\n\nWednesday June 17th at Nicks Lake House in Lake Harmony from 5:30 7:30 p.m. Appetizers will be provided along with a cash bar.\n\nRegistration packets will be handed out and those looking to get a lead on the competition will be given an opportunity to do so at the mixer!\n\n\n\nRACE PARTICIPANTS - BE SURE TO STOP BY! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCCEDC Hosts "Carbon Adventure Race" ~ Saturday June 27th\n\nCarbon County June 5\, 2015\n\nLast year\, the inaugural Carbon Adventure Race hosted by the Carbon Chamber & Economic Development Corporations Young Professionals Council\, had participants traveling to all parts of the county competing to complete the most challenges in the fastest time! This year\, the fun will return on Saturday\, June 27 at Blue Mountain Resort and\, we are bringing the county to our participants! \n\nArea businesses will not only be hosting the challenges on the 27th\, giving racers the opportunity to learn more about places like Blue Mountain and our other sponsors\, but they will also be set up with display booths both before and after the race. \n\nAdventure racing is a national phenomenon and a sport that actually rewards people for their participation and knowledge. Teams or individual participants are encouraged to register to reserve their space at this year's race and get ready for the most fun they've had since last year. It's time to push yourself to your physical\, mental and emotional limits! \n\nWe will be celebrating the finish at Slopeside Grill at Blue Mountain Ski family and friends are encouraged to come out and celebrate with the racers. Racer will enjoy complementary appetizers and a cash bar will be available. \n\nRegistration fees are $50 per team and individuals can register for $30. Monetary Prizes to 1st2nd 3rd place finishers will be awarded (along with bragging rights.\n\n \n\nWhat to Expect at the Carbon Adventure Race ~\n\nExpect to have fun participate in crazy and off the wall games\, Expect to get wet and slide your way to the winners circle\, Expect to perform physical challenges\, Expect mind games and mental challenges\, Expect some friendly competition and Expect to take pictures and have some fun!\n\nA pre event mixer will be hosted on Wednesday June 17th at Nicks Lake House in Lake Harmony from 5:30 7:30 p.m. Appetizers will be provided along with a cash bar.
