DESCRIPTION:Screenings\, including (fasting) cholesterol and blood glucose\, blood pressure\, balance and arthritis will be offered along with EKGs at no cost. Representatives from agencies and organizations from Carbon and surrounding counties will be present with information and education on a variety of topics\, including diabetes\, nutrition\, weight loss\, foot health\, exercise\, insurance\, Medicare\, local government and much more. Door prizes will be awarded\; you don?t need to be present to win. In addition\, sandwiches and homemade baked goods\, juice and coffee/tea will be served\, courtesy of the Palmerton Lions Club. There is no charge to attend the fair or for any of the screenings and refreshments are free as well. Please call to register or for an appointment for an EKG\, at 610-377-7070.
